SMART Board

SMART Board is the 4K UHD interactive display range from SMART Technologies, an international reference for digital teaching and classroom collaboration. Its distinctive trait is the combination of a high-precision touch panel, front 4K e-PTZ camera, an 8-microphone array and a USB-C single-cable connection: a single cable carries video, audio, data and power, removing the cable mess typical of older interactive whiteboards.

The e-PTZ camera (electronic Pan-Tilt-Zoom) automatically frames whoever is speaking, keeping the room visible to remote attendees. The 8-mic array cancels background noise and picks up voices from 5-6 metres away, enabling professional-grade hybrid teaching without lapel microphones.

In primary classrooms SMART Board acts as a large digital notebook where children write together, take collaborative notes and use SMART Learning Suite activities. In secondary it becomes a hub for video calls with international partner schools (eTwinning, Erasmus+), flipped-classroom lessons and remote expert sessions.

Integration with SMART Learning Suite, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Teams and Zoom is native: the panel is certified for the main school video-conferencing platforms. Compatibility with SMART Notebook lets schools import years of existing teacher material.
